CHLD Adapt helps adults adapt educational materials using AI. By using the service, you agree to the following:
Permission to upload
Upload only materials you created, have permission to adapt, or may lawfully use for this purpose. You are responsible for ensuring that submitting materials to CHLD Adapt and its AI providers, adapting them and sharing the results respect copyright and other applicable rights.
Instructional use only
Materials generated through CHLD Adapt are solely for your own instructional use with students or classes you teach. Selling, reselling, licensing, including them in resource packs, or publishing, uploading or distributing them through any website, platform, marketplace or repository—whether free or paid—is strictly prohibited. Sharing through a restricted-access classroom platform solely with your own students is permitted.
Review before use
AI output may contain errors or inappropriate changes. You are responsible for checking accuracy, completeness and suitability before using an adaptation.
Privacy
Do not upload names, completed pupil work or other identifying or confidential information.
Responsibility and availability
Users supply the uploaded materials; CHLD does not claim ownership of or endorse them. To the extent permitted by law, CHLD is not liable for losses arising from unauthorised uploads, misuse or reliance on unreviewed outputs. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. The service may be limited, interrupted or withdrawn.
Protection of the service
Copying, cloning, reproducing, redistributing or creating derivative versions of CHLD Adapt's proprietary code, branding, interface designs or content without written permission is strictly prohibited. You must not attempt to extract source code, system prompts, API keys or other protected components, or bypass security measures or usage limits. Reverse engineering, decompiling or disassembling the service is prohibited except where expressly permitted by applicable law. Third-party open-source components remain subject to their respective licences. These restrictions do not prevent permitted classroom use of generated worksheets.
